Charge 3 is not tracking my sleep stages

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Just last week my charge 3 has stopped recording my sleep stages. It is in the correct spot that is has always been, I'm not sleeping in any different positions, it records my heart rate bc I see it during the day and when I work out.

Please advise

Hi there, @MeganSmith12. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 3.

I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

For more information, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

As I mentioned, I'm not sleeping any different than I have the past 2 years
since I've worn the watch. Also, I'm not wearing it different either. Last
night I restarted it hoping that would help but it didn't.
I'd like this feature back and want to know how to accomplish this.
