Charge 3 sleep stages stopped working. Only shows light sleep for 97% to 100% which is wrong...changed wrists, rebooted, sleep in same bed, sleep at same times, I have sleep apnea and it is vital for me to be informed of my sleep stages....anyone else experience a shutdown of slep stages and have an answer that works to rectify the situation?

Ever since a recent Charge 3 update started showing more sleep info in dashboard sleep area, my sleep time has been wrong. Prior to that, if I got up just to go to bathroom, but went right back to sleep, there would be a continuation of sleep time from original time I went to sleep. Now if I come completely awake for just couple of minutes, which happens to me a lot, my sleep log drops any prior sleep time I had and starts sleep log over at the time I go back to sleep. I hate the new sleep log, and sleep log is major reason I got a Fitbit.

Hello @NCMc. Nice to see you around.
I'm sorry for the experience and thank you very much for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding the sleep feature. At this time, I'd like to let you know that it is expected that your Fitbit device will start recording a new sleep log after you get up for some minutes to go to the bathroom. For more information, please check: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
On a side note, if you believe that your sleep stages or your sleep logs are inaccurate, please try to change the sleep sensitivity setting. For example, if your sleep is now set to "Normal", try to change it to "Sensitive" and test your Fitbit device. Take into consideration that normal mode can work well if you make significant movements like rolling over, your device records time spent awake. This setting is appropriate for most users. In sensitive mode, your device records nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake. This setting may be helpful if you wake up feeling tired even though your sleep history shows sufficient rest.
To change your sleep sensitivity setting:

I have experienced the same issue. Never had a problem with the sleep function and now for two successive nights it has failed. Very frustrating as it is the main reason for keeping Fitbit. Regards
