Charge 3 is showing white vertical lines

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Charge 3 is showing white vertical lines on the screen and it is not as sensitive to touch after charging it from low battery. When I attached it to the charger the screen was normal but when I went to take it off the charger the white vertical lines had appeared. I have tried the suggested restart tips, changed the watch face and just waited it out a bit but nothing has fixed it yet. Any new tips to try?

I encountered the same issue today with the white vertical lines.  It's almost all of my screen.  I've done the recommended steps of plugging in and holding button for 8 seconds and it's still there.  I removed it when showering, so it's not water damage.  How can this get escalated?

Be glad yours is being replaced. My replacement did the same thing but they only honor your original warranty time. They just offered me 25% off new purchase. Thanks for nothing!
and this was my 4th Fitbit product in a lot of years. Guess it’s time to find new fitness tracker that isn’t Fitbit.

Same thing, Bjshif.  I didn't even get offered 25% off.  I have been dealing with Fitbit since day one, and have basically bought almost one of every model they have put out, I am obviously a gadget freak, lol.  Since the company went public, the customer retention level isn't what it used to be.

Hi everyone! I’m not sure what causes this issue but a family member experienced the say vertical lines with slight touch issues. A simple screen replacement did the trick. I also thought it was a logic board issue but tried out the new screen first and yeah it was the screen :p. If your are tech savvy give it a go, otherwise Fitbit does a great job hovering their warranties (if you are still within warranty).

Hello @Alienway. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you very much for your great input. At this time, I'd like to let you know that if there is an inconvenience with the screen and these troubleshooting steps don't help, my best recommendation is that you please contact our Support Team for further assistance.

Note that we don't recommend replacing the screen since opening the tracker could cause any internal damage.

See you around.
