My Charge 3 is only showing Pilates for all but one exercise.

How do I reset this?

Welcome on board @SrMumz, it's nice to see you around here! Have you added more shortcuts on the Fitbit app or Fitbit.com Dashboard so your Charge 3 can display more exercises besides Pilates?

You can choose from over 15 exercise types—including run, interval workout, swim, and yoga, to customize the app with your favorite workouts. If a specific exercise isn’t available, choose workout as your exercise type. You have 15 exercise types, but you can only set 6 at the time (swim is set by default).

Fitbit app:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon >  your device image.
  2. Tap Exercise Shortcuts.
  3. To add a new exercise shortcut, tap the + icon and select an exercise.
  4. To remove an exercise shortcut, swipe left on a shortcut (on Windows 10, tap the trashcan icon).
  5. To reorder an exercise shortcut, press and hold a shortcut, then drag it up or down to change its position.
  6. Sync your device.

Fitbit.com Dashboard:

  1. Log in to your fitbit.com dashboard and click the gear icon in the top right corner.
  2. Click Settings > Devices
  3. Scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts
  4. Click Edit Exercise Shortcuts to choose the exercises you want on your device. Then click Save
  5. Click and drag the Row Reorder icons to change the order of the exercises on your device.
  6. Sync your device.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need further assistance!

Mine is doing this too but here’s the thing:

1: my exercise dashboard is already full of the workouts I want

2: Pilates isn’t even one of the ones assigned to my Fitbit.

I have all the exercises I want on there, but my watch is only showing six slots of pilates. I’ve already synced a bunch and rebooted it. Sometimes it temporarily fixes the issue but the issue keeps coming back. One minute it’ll be weights, bike, treadmill, run, etc., and the next it just says Pilates, pilates, pilates, pilates, pilates.

I have the same exact problem! No matter what I do, it's Pilates, Pilates, Pilates! I don't even do pilates and it is not one of my pre-set activities. Help!

Hello,

Mine has also suddenly gone from being able to see all the different exercises to being stuck on Pilates only as an option. It’s very frustrating because I got this Fitbit on 5/1 a few days ago and I would like to be able to log my exercise on a stair stepper. I have tried syncing the exercise options I want on the app multiple times and have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I’ve never even had Pilates set as an option before so very confused as to why this is happening and I hope it will be addressed soon.

My Fitbit Inspire HR exercise app shows workout, walk, pilates, pilates, pilates, pilates. According to my app, it should display workout, walk, run, bike, interval workout, circuit training. Have synced countless times since this issue began.

I've got also the same problem.
So at first my device was working properly, it was showing ALL exercises that I wanted; "Run", "Bike", "Workout" .. etc. Now the exercise menu shows only "Run", "Pilates", "Pilates", "Pilates", "Pilates", "Pilates", and "Pilates".

I have already tried to change the shortcuts from the app and synced the device but with no change.

I think this is a bug, more than a some misconfigured settings, because I haven't changed any settings, it happened over night, and it has been reproduced more than one user.

None of this worked for me. I've followed all the instructions here and also reset the Charge 3 device itself. Under the exercise option I'm still only getting "run" and like six "pilates."

I followed the fix the mod sent me and it worked perfect. It still works to this day.

Shortly after working through the suggestions here the problem was
resolved. It wasn't instant. Maybe thirty minutes or so.

I finally fixed mine by going into the exercise shortcuts and deleting all of the ones listed. (My Fitbit was showing Pilates, Pilates, Pilates but my app listed run, treadmill, bike etc).  I then re added the ones I wanted and synced my phone again. This worked! Hope it works for you!

Hello!

I have looked online and followed an “acceptable answer” with no luck. I have an exercise (pilates) repeating 5 times on my Charge 3 after the first exercise option (run). 🤷🏻‍:female_sign: How can I reset the apparatus if after selecting exercise options & syncing phone, the same problem remains??

Thank you so much!
