Welcome on board @Forsyth54, it's nice to see you here! Robot Very Happy Sorry to hear about the inconveniences you've been having with your Charge 3. Thanks for already trying everything to reboot your tracker.

First of all, I'd recommend leaving your tracker charging at least 1 hour. Then, please check if your tracker is displaying anything other than the smiley face. If the smiley face has gone, let's try to restart your tracker once again by following these steps:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

Hello, I have charged the battery for more than one hour and the smiley face is still there and the tracker keeps vibrating. Tried to press the button but nothing happened! What should I do???? I must say Charge3 is seriously a big disappointment!

Best Answer

I let the battery die, put it on the charger just now and it seems to be working again.

It took some time, but fortunately the tracker back to normal. I synced the tracker with the app and the it got updated.  For now everything back to normal. Fingers crossed.

Mine doesn’t get stuck on the 🙂 but after cleaning all the connections and trying to charge I get the face and then I can see that the battery is not charging. What does this mean?

Update: I took the fitbit back to the shop and they sent it back to the manufacturer.. Whatever the issue was Fitbit couldn't resolve it either so after three weeks they gave me a new one. I hope it doesn't happen again but reading this feed, there seems to be some sort of issue with the Inspire. I hope they are trying to resolve it.

Hi All,

I am having the same exact issue as everyone has described above.  Did the proper charge, does the smiley face, and the nothing.  Mine is about two months old as well.

Just sharing the feedback...will be emailing them.

Best!

Mike
