Charge 3 is unresponsive it cannot restart

I have a charge 3 and I can’t get it to do anything but vibrate when I push the button on the side of it. I plugged it in and tried this method and same. Just vibrates and Bluetooth doesn’t connect so cannot change a face either.

Got it off the charger this morning and it continues to have a black screen but still vibrates when I push the side button either in or out of the charging holder. Also no lights. I

how else can it be checked. It’s less than a year old.

Hello @Walker9900. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you very much for the detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting. If you have a Charge 3 and you've tried to restart it, then I'd recommend performing a long restart to your Charge 3. A long restart is different than the basic or standard restart and it is only applicable for the Fitbit Charge 3. To complete this, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Also, if you notice that your Fitbit device doesn't charge when you plug in it, please review the following help article:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?

Hope this helps.
