Charge 3 isn't registering floors

My Fitbit doesn't show correct floor count. I go up 5 floors of stairs doesn't show anything, what should i do? And is there updates for the Fitbit Charge 3 and how to get them?

Welcome to the Community, @aleksa.

Your device may count less floors than you think it should for a variety of reasons. Not all flights are the same height or distance, so if the flight you climbed is less than 10 feet you may find that the device's floor count doesn't exactly match how many floors you climbed.

Now about the updates, if you have an update pending, you will be able to see it on the Fitbit app. If you aren't seeing any message of an update, don't worry, you are updated.

Does the device register steps on a stair stepper at the gym?

didnt try that.but i live on the 5th floor and i go up a lot and it does
not read it.
