Charge 3 isn't registering my information

My Charge 3 does not record steps, exercise, elevation, sleep or heart rate. Have restarted, quick and long, several times. No effect.

 

In email correspondence with Fitbit but they don't seem to be listening, keep asking me to try restart again. It worked fine when I first had it - for a week! Feel very disappointed as i was initially pleased with such a lovely gift.
