Charge 3 isn´t syncing with the app

My charge 3 stopped syncing to my android phone. So far, I have rebooted the phone and the Charge 3, turned off and turned on bluetooth on the phone.  I next removed the device from the app and reinstalled it with the bluetooth code. Finally I uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the phone.

 

Now it doesn't seem to pair.  I get the code and enter it on the phone; after a while the phone screen goes off, when I turn the screen back on, it is blank.

 

Any suggestions or is the fitbit trashed?

Update:

 

I left the white screen on for about a half hour and when I came back to it - it now works. Don't know what fixed it.

Mines doing this too, hasn't synced since April 🙈 I'm going to try what you suggested and just wait. Thank you 👍
