Charge 3 just went black screen and won’t reset

My device was working fine, I had just checked the time and it was fine... felt a vibration and then the screen went black. It won’t reset. When trying to put it on the charger to reset it gets very hot.

Mine too, my phone can’t find my Fitbit and the Fitbit just has a smiley face and vibrates. Doesn’t seem to want to reset!

Mine went the same yesterday now its dead I did try to charge again but it got really hot. Unfortunately I managed to switch off now it will not come back on. Anyone know how to fix because I'm getting the impression that a lot of charge 3 are going down all at same time. I have only had mine 7 months either that they are not meant to last.

Mine did that yesterday, was working fine then the screen went blank.  It was charged about 45% so I put it on the charger and nothing.  I tried to reset it but when I press the button it vibrates but no smiley face comes up.  I bought mine January 2019 so it's out of warranty.  Any suggestions from anyone out there?  I really liked it so I want to get another one but not sure if it's only going to last a little over a year.
