Charge 3 lines across the display

My Fitbit has started showing lines all across the screen and I can barely read it anymore. I always take it off when washing my face, showering etc. so I don't think it's water damage.

I've tried restarting the Fitbit by plugging it in and pressing the button on the side for 8 seconds but still no improvement. This is rather annoying seeing as I've only had this Charge 3 for just over a year.

I had this issue too. Purchased my Charge 3 in January 2019 and I am on my 2nd replacement due to this problem. Mine has just gone again but unfortunately I am not eligible for a replacement this time due to being out of warranty ( although this latest unit was only from a replacement in May 2020 so not sure how that works) .

I would contact support . I have always had great help from them in the past. It sounds very similar to the issue I had.

I have had many fitbit products over the years but I must say the Charge 3 has been the most problematic with the screen so be prepared ... in fact now I can’t get mine sorted I am probably going to swap out to Apple Watch .

Hope you get it resolved 🙂
