Charge 3 logging high active minutes

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My fitbit charge spent two weeks constantly flicking through screens and despite multiple resets this has finally stopped.  However, it has now started logging ridiculously high active minutes - for example, yesterday, despite sitting at my desk all day it recorded 708 active minutes and 5,923 burnt calories.  Today I have done 3,556 steps, but somehow 246 active minutes and 2,134 calories.   Can someone please help!

Hello @emma.kew. Welcome to the community forums.

I'm sorry for this experience and thank you for the detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting. Since the screen inconvenience is now resolved, let's focus on the inconvenience related to active minutes.

For this, I'd recommend performing a long restart to your Charge 3 by following the instructions below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

After performing the long restart, please test the behavior of your Charge 3.

Hope this helps.
