Charge 3 no bluetooth, no screen, won't charge, continuous vibration

Hi,

Earlier my charge 3 died without warning. I plugged it in to charge but it was having troubles. I left it for a few hours. When I put it on moments ago it started going crazy. Wouldn't stop vibrating on and off continuously, like when you get a notification, and was clicking on screens. It finally got to the pay screen and was still buzzing and just selecting whatever the # on the lock screen was. Bf said this happened to him and he finally got it to stop by changing the clock screen. I attempted to do so but the app wouldn't connect to the unit (still vibrating like crazy). I went to hold down the side button for 8 seconds to restart, but it was like there was no button, it seemed pushed in? I put it back on the charger and no screen would light up. If I push the side button it vibrates, and if  hold to restart is just vibrates continuously. It is not charging. I just went to check it and it says to change the clock face again, but it won't connect to my phone  It is also vibrating again and getting stuck in the vibration loop selecting the pay numbers, even in the charger.

Hi @KMendoza399 Thatis not sounding good. Try a long restart but if that doesnt fix it then come back here.

CHARGE 3 LONG RESTART
Plug the device into the charging cable. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, hold the button down for 15 seconds. Remove your finger from button. Note: Device won't have a smiley face icon and should be off with a black screen. Remove the device from the charging cable. Plug the device into the charging cable again. The smiley face icon appears on the screen.

Hi, the button does seem like it is able to be pushed down but I think I got it. Now it just shows a blank screen with a line across it. The button cannot be pressed.

Same. Literally 3 months old and seems dead. After all the vibration it does quickly and now won’t hold a charge. Plugged in says 100%. Unplug it says no charge and dies.

3 months.

I will I’ll move on to my Apple Watch if this can’t be fixed.

I have been been a loyal Fitbit fan with my Alta as well as all my family members. No issues ever and been years.

It took like five days to get them to agree it was broken and I just sent it back in. I agree u have my first charge 2 for 4 years and this one I purchased in November. Hoping this can be resolved easily. Have you started messaging the help people yet?

Hi, I'm not sure if this thread is still active but my sons fitbit has started with this issue today while on a bike ride. I have tried all of the steps mentioned above but nothing has worked. Fitbit isn't a year old I'm at a loss now as to what to do if anyone has any advice I'd be most grateful..

Thanks
