I have not been getting detailed sleep since September 2019. I stopped wearing it to bed since it was pointless. I decided to try again...I reset the Fitbit by pressing button until smile face came on. Charged to 100%, app is up to date and I actually removed and reinstalled th, and the firmware is current. I tried two straps. I still only get simplified sleep so it does know I’m asleep... I see the red light under it is on at night.
looking back at my old data, the last time I had detailed sleep was in August. I’m not sure but it might have been around then that my Fitbit went blank and dead. I was sent a replacement. I don’t think sleep has worked since I got it! I’m guessing it was refurbished and is defective in its programming or something... I have an up to date. Galaxy S9 phone.
any more suggestions?
edit...IT WAS IN SEPTEMBER that I got warranty replacement. I guess they sent me a dud.

No luck. Last night I
Cleaned it ( wasn't dirty though)
Reset it on charger
Deleted the cache on the app
Deleted the app
Restarted the phone
Installed the app
Deleted the charge from the app
Re set up the charge 3 in the app
Wore the band properly
I got 8 hrs 17 min simplified sleep
No detailed sleep again!
This is with premium.
The charge does show sleep time after syncing, but before sync says sleep not tracked.
