Charge 3 no heart rate and lines on the screen

My charge 3 has recently stopped displaying my heart rate, I attempted to turn the heart rate sync on/off on the fit bit, reset my Fitbit and nothing seems to be working.

There have also been lines on my Fitbit screen for almost 6 months. They are small little black lines on the display

@Brucie8134 Thanks for your reply.

I appreciate your help in following the suggested tips. If the battery drains quickly and you have considered the tips from this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Then, I recommend contacting our Support Team for further assistance. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone, but Phone wait times are longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat.

Please make sure to explain the inconveniences and the troubleshooting steps you've tried, this way they can assist you from there.

See you around.

Hello @Brucie8134. It's nice to see you around.

Thank you for the detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried prior to posting. If the basic restart didn't work, I suggest you to perform a long restart for both inconveniences. A long restart is different than the basic one and you can complete the process by following the instructions below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

If that doesn't work, my best recommendation is that you please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance. Note that you can give us a call or initiate a chat. Click here to get connected.

It is recommended that you please explain the inconveniences and mention the troubleshooting steps, this way they can assist you from there.

See you around.
