My charge 3 no longer receives notifications or vibrates when I reach goal and has stopped telling me to move. I have tried restarting it through settings.

Hi @bcne12563, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear about the notifications, vibration and reminders to move issues that your Charge 3 has experienced. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a long restart. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.
  8. Set up your watch from scratch

In case the notifications issue persists, please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article.

Finally, monitor your tracker and see if the notifications, vibration feature and reminders to move issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thanks that has sorted my notifications for call and messages. Just sitting waiting now to see if it tells me to move. Thank you for your help.

I had the same problem.  I found the answer on this forum, but I don't remember who gave the advice.  He said this happened to him after an update.  Hold the button on the side of your Fitbit until it shows DND (Do Not Disturb) and Sleep.  Tap DND, and the hourly "you need more steps" vibration will work again.  Push the button the side to return to normal screen.  Worked for me...

What do you mean 'set your watch up from scratch'? It loses all its data? You have to register it again on the app?

Hi - I'm not receiving notifications on my Charge HR 3.  I've had it for about 18 months.  I've tried all the troubleshooting steps, including erasing all user data on the device, unpairing and pairing again with my iPhone and turning notifications on and off multiple times.  I no longer see a notifications option on the device by holding the button to access the quick settings (i.e. I used to, but didn't notice when this function no longer appeared).  What options do I have other than throwing this in the bin and getting a Garmin, as I'm certainly not inclined to buy another Fitbit (this is my third)?
