Have downloaded the Windows Fitbit app from the Microsoft store and the Charge 3 is not an option to set up. Have tried all the other devices available and none will pair. Have. Even searching the forum for a solution all evening to no avail - we are getting very dissatisfied with the process and the product. Please can anyone help, all we need is the Charge 3 as an available option.

@Maxrobbo, I have Fitbit app on my laptop (win 10), and it works very well with Charge 3 - not quite sure what you mean that C3 is not on the list... I can see it very clearly (click on your account - rectangular icon in the top right corner, then on the left side you'll see different options, including Set up a device - > when I click on it I see a lot of devices shown, including C3). BTW, do you have Bluetooth enabled on your PC? If PC doesn't have Bluetooth, then you'd need a dongle to sync it.

@Maxrobbo, ahhh… got you! Unfortunately, it's not currently enabled for Windows phones, only for Win 10 OS, but I believe they're working on it!

I am having the same issue in that I have a pc running windows 10 but the fitbit app does not show charge 3 amongst those offered for selection. I had trouble downloading the app from the microsoft store; it said it could not download it and would try again later (which it did multiple times to no effect). Eventually downloaded the app from lo4d which was a link I found via this forum, but when I tried to set up the new charge 3, it just wasn't shown as an option. I'm wondering if there is an updated fitbit app and that I am somehow downloading an older version? Obviously it's driving me mad and the fitbit will soon be winging its way back to where I bought it...

I had the same problem setting up and found this only worked with the app on my phone, not on my laptop. Weird inconsistency, and not great UX.

I don't even have a smartphone. In the end I bought a new laptop (fortunately it was high time I did) and it works with Windows 10 on that, but still not on the Windows 10 on my husband's desktop. Crazy. No matter what I try, Charge 3 refuses to count swimming lengths and says it's not recording sleep, yet although the watch and the app show that it's not recorded, when I go on the website and log in, sure enough, there is the recorded sleep.
As you say, inconsistent.
