Recently my Charge 3 has gone dark. It started when it ran out of battery and I went to charge it. It started with erratic vibrations when plugged up in the charger, but no heart rate lights or screen images. I’ve tried all the recommendations of changing the clock face and resetting it. It just won’t turn on. After about 45-50 minutes plugged into the wall, still no activity, other than it radiating lots of heat.
My mom also has a Charge 3 and has had her Charge longer than me with no malfunctions. Both chargers work for her, but fail my device.
I’ve had this Charge 3 since November of 2019 and has been malfunctioning for a week.
Any recommendations of what I should do?

Let me help you with your Charge 3 not charging and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help your device charge.
