Charge 3 not charging

The display on my charge 3 only works when it is plugged into the charger. Apparently it is at 0% or 1% battery, it starts charging - showing the tiny thin line moving up the battery repeatedly - and within a minute or two  shows the smiley face and if I find the battery on the display with it plugged in - it says 100% but almost as soon as I put it onto my wrist, within a minute or two, I cannot get the display. If I plug it back into the charger, it says the battery is 1%. I suspect that my charger has failed - I have cleaned the points on both fitbit and charger, tried charging through the computer, different usb plugs and even different plug sockets and nothing cures this. However, it is still connected to my phone and my phone thinks the battery is at 100% so, I don't really know what to think. I also tried to restart it yesterday and nothing made any difference.

I couldn't understand what was wrong until I thought of looking on google for images of the back of a charge 3, and, one of the charging points - the little dots is completely missing, which is why it wouldn't charge. So,  as it's out of warranty by several months, I replaced it with a Luxe, which, I'm really happy with. Thank you. Sent from my Galaxy
