I just got my Charge 3 today. I have been charging it up for 2.5 hours now. It never gets above 48 percent. If I unplug it and re plug it in, the charge level drops almost 7 percent. Right now it is on a different USB charger and at 31 percent. Is anyone else having this issue?

Fitbit's latest update addressed this issue (I think). The app (on your phone) shows the more accurate indicator of the charge level. Prior to the update, I think there was a bug on the Charge 3 battery indicator UI.

Thanks for your reply but it really has nothing to do with the App but the physical contacts of the charger. I did a bit of trouble shooting and it comes down to just that they designed a poor charging connection. Slightly longer pins on the charger would make up for having a small sweet spot for the connections.

I did something differently to charge up my Charge 3 today. I think that the average wall plug doesn't source enough current to charge the unit successfully most of the time. I used my external battery supply to charge the fit bit and it did it quickly to 97% and the external battery was still showing a good charge as well.

I have the same issue with my mum's Fitbit Charge 3. I had it plugged in overnight and it shows that it's charging, but the level does not go beyond 13%. This isn't the first time this is happening though.

Hi my charge has has been charging for nearly 24 hours and it's only on 7% I have restarted it changed the USB point and it is still the same. I was given it as a birthday present in November so it is still within warranty. Have you got any advice please.

Having the same issue. Purchased a new charger. Made sure the terminals were clean. Still not charging. Mine is about 1 month old.

To all those who are having trouble charging their Charge 3s: This may be a problem with Charge 3s in general (although I understand that there are many Charge 3s that do not have this problem) or only with a number of defective Charge 3s that are experiencing this problem. Having had charging and syncing problems with my own Charge 3, I finally gave up and returned it for a refund. I recently purchased a Fitbit Inspire HR and have used it for about 3 months with absolutely no charging problems and no syncing problems. While it does not have all the features of the Charge 3, I am far happier with a trouble-free Fitbit Inspire HR, albeit with fewer features, than I ever was with the Charge 3, with more features but constant charging and syncing problems. If the features of the Inspire HR will work for you, this is something you might want to consider.

The 2 pins on the factory charger are to short to connect. They might work initially but by not being a solid connection they will arc shorter and soon not connect at all. Went back to the store and got an after market (Adreama) charger at no charge and the new contacts are at least twice as long. Problem solved.
