Hi. I have a charge 2 at present and I'm looking at up dating to a charge 3 but my iPhone 5s is not compatible with the charge 3. Can you advise me as to whether I should forget about up dating as I'm not going to change my phone. thanks Carol

Hello there @SunsetRunner, it's nice to see you around the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided, I'll be glad to help you. 😉

Note that your iPhone 5S is compatible with Charge 3 as it is with the Charge 2. You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

However, while reading your post I was wondering if you've already removed the Charge 2 from your iPhone's Bluetooth settings? If you've not done so, I'd suggest to try the following:

1. Remove the old Charge 2 from the phone's Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
3. Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
4. Setup your Charge 3 as a replacement.

Keep in mind that if you are going to use the same Fitbit email address you used to use with your Charge 2, all your previous data will be stored on your Fitbit account (since the day you linked your Charge 2 until now). Once the Charge 3 is paired to the account, your dashboard will start syncing and showing all the information tracked from your Charge 3.

If you don't want to see previous data and want to start from scratch with your Charge 3, you'll need to create a new account.

Let me know if there's anything else I may do to assist you with.

Hello MarreFitbit, Thank you for replying to my post.

I followed your advice and it worked. Unfortunately I am now having trouble with not being able to sync my daily activities onto the computer as the computer keeps telling me that my Bluetooth is off when on my phone it is on. I have sent in a post hoping that someone will be able to advise me. Many thanks once again. Puffin
