Charge 3 not counting active minutes accurately

Over last 2 or 3 days charge 3 is not recording minutes correctly. I have reset, uninstalled etc. But it's still not working correctly. Today I completed a 4 mile walk and I'm up to 15k steps minutes shows 6 active mins ? App is fully updated too. Please advise.

At this time, I'd like to let you know that Fitbit devices calculate active minutes through metabolic equivalents (METs). This metric, which factors in your body mass, is used to estimate exercise intensity. METs are calculated through a ratio (source). 

 

Also, take into consideration that you can earn active minutes through 10 minutes or more of continuous moderate-to-intense activity. You can also read more information here and if the inconvenience persists, please make sure to provide the following information: 

 

  • Have you tested your Charge 3 doing a different workout? 
  • Are you wearing your tracker tight or lose?
  • How long does your workout last?
