My Charge 3 was being recharged when I walked the dog. Rather than miss out on the steps, I logged the walk in on my computer, successfully. Have been wearing it all day since then, but not a single step is being picked up, like it's waiting for me to log everything in again. Have rebooted it on my wrist, but no steps showing after this morning. It is syncing just fine, but not recognising any steps so it seems to be the Charge 3 that is the problem, not the software?

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @Jackie_C.
Thank you for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Charge 3 before contacting us.
Please make sure the manually logged activity shows the right information (MM minutes and SS seconds). If the manually logged activity is longer than your real walk, your Tracker won't transfer data to your account until the manually logged activity is finished.
If you have any question, please let us know.

I'm afraid I'm not clear on what you are saying. I have tried to ensure that the walk while my Fitbit was charging was accurately reflected when I logged it, and indeed it appeared on my dashboard. I have just edited it to try to ensure that I did not crossover times, when I put the Fitbit back on. The problem is, once I put the Fitbit back on, not one step was recorded for the rest of the day, although calories, floors etc were. Today it is working okay but I don't feel I can trust it anymore

Hi Edson, my walk was for around 20 minutes, and I put the watch back on as soon as I got home (another flight of stairs which of course was missed)
