Hello. Did you try changing your message preview settings on your iPhone? Go to Settings>Notifications>Messages and under Show Previews select “When Unlocked (default)”

Try resetting your iPhone and reloading the Fitbit app even if ifs up to date and reset your Fitbit... I did all of those first. Then do the preview setttings on iPhone messages

fingers crossed 🤞

If you go to settings>Fitbit>notifications, is “Allow Notifications” turned on, all alert types checked on, sounds and badges turned on, and under Show Previews select “when unlocked”?

Hi Sara, it’s a pain I must’ve spent over an hour trying to sort mine at weekend. Basically forgot connection to Bluetooth and reconnected eventually, hard reset my iPhone several times to pair the HR with my phone again... took several attempts and then hard reset the HR in the watch itself by going into settings on the watch so as to avoid wiping the data. I also went into notifications on my iPhone and set as per attached image. It took a lot of attempts and swears but I eventually got it to work. I also went into Fitbit app and made sure I’d got latest version via App Store

Best wishes

You have to select messages on phone and make sure preview always is on.

@SaraD001 Did you manage to get it all working? I’ve been trying for the last couple of days and nothing!

I had to go into notifications. Show previews always. Which I am not a fan of because I don’t want my messages to appear on my cell phone.

So I am hoping there is another way

I got my charge 3 for Christmas as an upgrade from the 2. Ive done absolutely everything you’ve posted, several times. I’ve reset my phone. I still don’t get call alerts or texts on my fitbit. I have an iPhone 8 and all updates are up to date. Please help me figure this out if possible. If not I will have to send it back.

Hi there so first take a look in the fitbit app and make sure you are set to receive all the different types of messages in notifications in your account profile (top left)

next go into your iPhone notification and make sure to tick the preview all button. Hopefully this will fix it... don’t take anything back just yet 🙂

I don’t want my iMessages to show up on my iPhone.

My cell phone use to show the texter and iMessage now when I tick the preview all button my iPhone now shows my texts.

Ticking the notification - the preview all button. Works for me to receive texts on Fitbit now I need to figure out now to still get Fitbit texts but no show on my phone

It works for me if I choose “when unlocked (default) under Show Previews. It will only show your text messages if your phone is unlocked or if you are looking directly at it if you have face recognition enabled.

I’ve done all that. I’ve read this entire thread and done everything that has been suggested. Besides doing a factory reset on my iPhone (which I’m not going to do) I don’t kNow what else to do. Nothing has worked.
