Update.
Charging issue on the latest one has not occurred. But screen brightness has gradually gone so low I can't now see anything. I've checked all the settings so it's just the unit. Will never buy a fitbit again.

When I went to bed last night and my Fitbit charge 3 was at 78% battery. When I woke up this morning it was dead. I called support and got a guy who admitted to me that it was his second day on the job. The only thing he could suggest to me after asking for my phone number, email address, what country I am in etc. was to email me a discount coupon for 25% off a new device! Seriously? No help at all, maybe walking me through a reset or something? What a joke. This is what my father would call “throwing good money away after bad”. No thank you, I’ll trash the Fitbit and go buy an Apple iWatch instead.

Alejandra, your link takes me to instructions for a Fitbit blaze. I don’t have a blaze and neither did the person you responded to. I have a charge 3 and so did she, geez. How about a link to how to fix the problem for the correct device?

I called tech help and got a guy who did admit to me that this was only his second day on the job. I suspect they have had a mass exodus of employees at Fitbit and the remaining ones or the new hires have no idea what to do. All they can do is be polite to you on the phone and offer to send you a coupon for a discount on a new device. I thanked him and told him no, I am going to splurge and get an apple iWatch. They last much longer. My husband has had one for years. He tried to talk me out of getting a Fitbit. Wish I had listened to him from the get-go.
