Charge 3 not receiving WhatsApp notifications

So I am receiving some notifications on my charge 3 but not all. I have an iPhone 11. 

I have checked share system notifications via the Bluetooth settings on my phone is switched on. 

I have also been through the Fitbit app and having clicked on my profile picture/my device/notifications and ensured that the ones I want are ticked. 

I have also ensured that phone calls and texts and calendar events are marked as on. 

so far I can receive call notifications and twitter notifications 

I can not receive WhatsApp or text message messages. In addition Facebook messenger does not populate in the list of apps no matter how many messages I receive. 

can anyone help?

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 3. Thank you for trying to get them resolved before contacting us.

If you followed the instructions in this article without luck, please tap your profile picture on the Fitbit app > tap your Charge 3 icon > Notifications > Text messages > WhatsApp make sure it is turned on. If you don't see this option please share a screen shot of what is shown when you tap notifications.

 Hi

WhatsApp is selected but I don’t get any notifications. Twitter and YouTube are selected and the come through fine. Strangely text message is also selected and I don’t receive these notifications either. 

Facebook messenger won’t populate in the list for me to select it, even though I have received messages to my phone.
