Charge 3 not receiving notifications from Galaxy S10e

I had a Charge 2 that worked perfectly until it died in Nov., so I upgraded to a Charge 3. I have the same phone - a Samsung Galaxy S10e. Text notifications came through a few times on the Charge 3 but then stopped working and have not worked since. I have tried everything (talked to Fitbit support twice already): unpaired and repaired, restarted Fitbit and phone, they are both up to date, all the settings are correct. Phone notifications come through and the test phone notification works every time I try it, but text notifications do not. This makes the Fitbit a lot less valuable and I keep missing important texts because I've been used to them coming through on my Charge 2 for the last few years. Any solutions for this before I say goodbye to Fitbit and switch to something else?
