I have a Charge 3 and a Samsung Galaxy S9+. I do not receive text email or call notifications. I have spoken with a chat rep and he was unable to help me. Stated they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. Anyone else have this problem - and/or know of a solution?

My S8 stopped notifications today. Not directly after the firmware update but not too far after.
Did yours work and then stopped? What did the tech say was the problem they are aware of??
fitbit can solve a lot of misery by building debug code into their apps but instead all sync problems are the fault of users.

I get call notifications but no text. Worked with two techs via chat and
couldn't resolve it. They said their aware and making fixes.

Thanks for stopping by @Deniseu14, @andrea444, and @CLTGreg! Sorry to hear about the inconveniences you've been having when trying to get text notifications from your Android to your Charge 3.Thanks for the steps you've taken in order to sort this out, nice way to go!
In order to solve this, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and remove the tracker. In the list of Bluetooth devices you'll see the Charge 3 and next to it, this symbol "!". Hit the symbol and it will take you to the next step, once you're there select the option that says "Unpair".
Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device.
In addition, I recommend double check the following:
Give this a go and let me know how it goes!

I have a Charge 3 and a Samsung Galaxy S9. I upgraded from a Charge 2 which was sometimes flaky as far as updating and syncing.
I've been trying all day and have not been able to get any kind of notifications on my new Charge 3. I've followed every set of instructions that I can find to get notifications, but to no avail. My phone says the Charge 3 is paired. I have unpaired and paired, but still no notifications.

I don't know what I did, but woke up this morning and all the notifications were working. I made several changes late last night, so something I did fixed the problem.

Android uses pretty aggressive battery optimisation which makes Bluetooth drop out. Try this it worked for me. https://youtu.be/Z0iqx-l3cMg

I had same problem as others. I could get phone notifications but not text. Did all of the suggested actions. Spoke to fitbit. Nothing was working. I had repeatedly checked on the fitbit to ensure the notification icon was on as one time it had been somehow turned off. It was on as was the screen awake icon, which also didn't work by turning my wrist. Had to tap screen. Anyhow, just for a trial, turned both off and back on. Now, both are working. The simplest thing fixed the problem and no one had mentioned to try that.

I found the problem why my S9 was not showing text notification on the Fitbit charge 3.
Just need to go the Fitbit App.
Click on the left upper corner on the profile symbol.
scroll down until you see Devices
Click on Charger 3 with the watch symbol.
Scroll down to General
Click on Notification
Give Permission to the Fitbit App to Manage pretty much everything in your phone, Calls, Text, Calendar, etc...

Have tried everything and still not working. I have triple checked all my settings and still I have not had a single notification from my phone to my Fitbit. How can I get Notifivationa please?
