Charge 3 not receiving notifications from my Huawei 30 Lite

I have followed all the trouble shooting hacks on this forum and the Fitbit help page, and I can for a short while get the phone and Huawei Pro 30 lite to connect and receive notifications and then they stop and can't get them back. Didn't connect all day at work yesterday where I need it to, got it connected yesterday evenng after wasting another hour, woke up this morning and its gone again!

Very disappointed as this was one of the main reasons for upgrading from a £20 step counter! May have to return the product .

HELP!

Hi there @LizzieBlade08, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 3 is not receiving notifications from your Huawei P30 Lite. Thanks for taking the time to troubleshoot this situation prior to posting here. 

 

To better assist you, would you mind letting me know if you're getting any error message either on the Fitbit app or Charge 3 in regards to notifications not working? If so, I'd appreciate if you could send me a photo or screenshot of it.

 

In the meantime, please confirm that you've followed the steps provided here: Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Hi. 

I have the same issue with my fitbit. I recently got a new charge 3 as my screen was not working and luckily it was in warranty so was replaced. 

I get the error message to restart my phone to start notifications. I have done this multiple times and still no avail. 

I have tried uninstalling the fitbit app, deleting my fitbit off of my account and restarting my fitbit. I have tried making a test call notification and nothing seems to work. 

Everything else about my fitbit works, but it will not let any notifications come through. 

 

Any help would be much appreciated!
