Charge 3 not recording all my sleep hours

Often my Charge 3 fails to record the first 2 or 3 hours of my sleep.

Obviously adding them afterwards does not affect details of the quality of the sleep.

Hello @AndyJP. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you for the information. Take into consideration that your Fitbit Charge 3 should start registering your Sleep, when your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour.

If this is not the case, I would recommend performing a restart to your Charge 3, by following the steps here. Also, take into consideration that you can set your Charge 3 to normal and sensitive Sleep setting. Normal mode is recommended when you make significant movements like rolling over, so your device records time spent awake. This setting is appropriate for most users.

In sensitive mode, your device records nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake. This setting may be helpful if you wake up feeling tired even though your sleep history shows sufficient rest. For more information about Sleep, I recommend visiting this help article:

How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?

Hope this helps.
