My Charge 3 has stopped registering Active Minutes even though daily exercise goals are achieved. I've rebooted the device but problem still exists. Suggestions?

It's great to see you around, @Summerse.

Thanks for troubleshooting this active minutes issue. Can you tell me which activity are you doing in order to earn active minutes? In the meantime, I recommend performing a long restart:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂

Hi,

I have this problem too, ive tried rebooting from the charge 3 settings screen and used the instructions given on this thread. Not only is my charge 3 not counting any active minutes but it only sporadically counts floors too. My old charge 2 used to track really accurately. I couldn't wait to get my charge 3 for xmas and have been left totally disappointed with it. I don't know what else to try?? Any other suggestions?

Many thanks

Did not help me. I have done this several times as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

The failure to record active minutes began when I registered for the Premium trial.

Charge 3 and Samsung S9+.
