Charge 3 not registering active minutes

My Charge 3 does not consistently register active minutes. I understand that this is usually due to variation in intensity, so I did the same workout two days in a row. First day, it registered 25 minutes, second day 0 minutes. Even if the second day was not as active, it is not possible that the same activity two days in a row would be so dramatically different. I saw somewhere that this may be because activating an exercise manually on your watch can override the activity registration. Is that correct?

My workouts are always yoga/Pilates so are not automatically detected by Fitbit, therefore I have to manually start the workout on my watch. I deleted the automatic sync for today's workout (showing 0) and logged it directly in the app. It is now showing 25 minutes of activity, but is that because it is true activity or has it just accepted what I logged as fact? Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Community, @HayleySinc.

I appreciate all the information provided about your active minutes. If your tracker isn't registering this information, I recommend taking a look at the help article: What are Active Zone Minutes or active minutes on my Fitbit device?.
