In exercise function on Fitbit Charge 3 the kilometres does not record on bike mode - walk mode is fine - only other 1 I have used so far - any ideas please?

Thanks for the information provided. I would like to know if you keep having problems with your distance information? Have you tried to restart your device? If you haven't, I recommend restarting your tracker by following the steps in the article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
