Charge 3 not resetting at midnight

Fitbit watch including yesterdays numbers with today's. Didn't reset to zero at midnight. I just got my Fitbit yesterday and set it up yesterday afternoon. this morning it is still displaying steps from yesterday and including steps today. I want a daily accumulation. not two days added up.
