Charge 3 not showing sleep score

Hi guys, once again I’m new to Fitbit. The first night I wore my Charge 3 to bed, it tracked my sleep and I could easily access me sleep score.

However since then the app has not been giving me my sleep score and it rates it as ‘0’. It’s really frustrating and I have tried logging in and out of the app, resetting the Fitbit and even deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Can anyone advise me on what is happening? Should I return the device or is Fitbit going to fix the issue with an update?

I will definitely be trying the cheap Chinese devices next time, or a main Fitbit competitor that makes a similar looking but more narrow band. It gets great sleep tracking reviews. Similar price or a little less. Since this has been going on awhile and Fit blot will not fix it and moderators are not helpful, I’m done with this company!! So sad.

Thank you for your response,
About every 2 days, this Fit "blot" 🙂 states "wear your fitbit to receive

Thank you. I think tonight I will try not using the app and “begin sleep now” and “I’m awake”. I’ve only had mine for a little over a week and I’ve gotten 3 sleep scores and the last two nights it hasn’t worked. Will try your method tonight! Thank you

My Charge 3 stopped recording Sleep Score almost 3 weeks ago. I've followed all the steps such as making sure the Fitbit fits right and everything else. My old Fitbit had stopped recording the sleep score and I got this new Charge 3 and it was working again. Stopped 3 weeks ago and can't get it back. It records my heartbeat all night and sees my movement but having the sleep score back would be a nice change.

Seems like others are having the same problem. Come on Fitbit. There must be a glitch somewhere you can fix.

This happened to me and I got it back by doing nothing lol In that I mean I no longer press the “Going to sleep now” and “I’m awake” button. I now just go to sleep and the Fitbit figures it out every night and magically gives me my sleep score every morning again. Not sure if you were doing the same start sleep but try not doing anything- fingers crossed 🤞, good luck!!

So is the sleep correct I have the same issues sometimes, did you sleep for that long or is it incorrect because of the no sleep details and no sleep score?

Is there a solution to this? I am having the same issue. It just stooped providing a sleep score and the troubleshooting did not help.

Mine started working consistently for a few weeks. Only things I did differently was tighten the band, reboot a couple of times, synch the app right before going to bed, and started keeping the Fitbit app on my phone on all night. I also did a short free premium trial. Hope that isn’t the reason! Who knows....working for now at least

I got the same issue. The sleeping score stopped for 4 days now. It is saying it cannot track consistent heart rate, which is weird for the graph for the heart rate is consistent. Is their an issue with fitbit lately?

It seems that if you Log in going to sleep at night it will NOT provide a Sleep Score.  I have experimented with it and each time I log in going to sleep I get no score.  If i simply go to sleep it records a sleep score. Something about the Sleep Log appears to disable the score.  Software bug apparently, but as best as I can tell, the only solution at present is to not tell it that you are going to sleep.

Okay, thanks for all the advice, just letting everyone know that I have
NEVER logged sleep manually, so that was not the problem.

The problem was in fact a faulty device, which luckily the retailer happily
replaced. I have had no problems since.

So my advice: do not let the Fitbit Community convince you it is your fault
that the heart rate monitor is not working. It is likely to be faulty and
no amount of resetting will fix that.

HELP!!  I am an avid Fitback user for the last ten years. Recently, my Charge 3 sleep score has stopped working. In March, it began to go bad on me. I would only receive 2 or three scores a week, Then in July, it stopped working altogether. I spent countless hours on phone support with Fitbit. NOTHING WORKED. . .STILL NO SCORES.  They finally sent me a new Charge 3. Still nothing!? Its been 4 months now!?!?

HELP!!!

Sorry about the typo. . ."Fitbit" not "Fitback"

I’m having the same problem. Got a charge 3 for my birthday 2 weeks ago. First two nights it worked but since then nothing. I’ve tried telling it I’m asleep, changing arms everything and still it’s not working. Gutted as this is one of the main reasons I got a new device from my old Alta.

Mine was good for quite a few months for some reason. Now i've only gotten a Sleep Score 3 times in the last 3 weeks.
