Upgraded from Alta to charge 3 several weeks ago and it was working fine until today. It is suddenly not registering active minutes or calculating calorie burns of exercises properly. This morning I went for a 40 min 4 mile run, which showed up as an auto recognized exercise (average bpm=159), but no active minutes added and only 36 calories. Only step count seems accurate. Same thing for 2 walks: registered exercise and steps but no active minutes and extremely low calorie burn. Not sure what the problem is with it’s calculations. Already tried restarting device, syncing multiple times, disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth. Any thoughts?

Exact thing happened to me with my new Charge3! Never had a problem with my old one, but gave that one to my mother and the new one registers everything except active minutes-- and calories for the day might get up to 320! They replaced it, and I'm having the same problem with the replacement. ugh. I've deleted the app and reinstalled it. Rebooted my phone. Rebooted the device. Paired and unpaired it. Nothing seems to work!

Check your profile and make sure your weight is entered! For some reason, mine said .1 lb. I swear I never touched it. I changed it to my weight and it started tracking calories again! I’ll check active minutes tomorrow morning! Maybe this will help? UPDATE: Since changing my weight from .1 lb. to the true one hundred plus lbs, the tracker is registering both active minutes and calories properly!!!!! It took a couple of phone calls around the world (literally!) but Fred from Guatamala knew the fix!!
