Charge 3 not tracking ebike steps, ks or activity

Charge 3 (no charge 3 place to start conversation so using charge 4) not tracking steps, kilometres or activity when riding my ebike. It records all activities on my manual bike but not the ebike. I have tried resetting and reinstalling app. I have tried manually turning on bike activity on watch. Not happy.

When you are riding your ebike, you don't move your body as much as when riding the bike normally. That's why the Charge 3 cannot recognize your movements and your exercise. The tracker was design to register your body movements.

Thanks for your answer. So does this mean that when riding a stationary
excercise bike the steps and activity aren't measured?

@LiZzIe55 , Thanks for your reply.  You are right, when doing stationary bike, most probably the activity won't be recognized. You can learn more about it here: How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity?
