I upgraded from Charge 2 to Charge 3 a few months ago and I'm loving the Charge 3. But I've noticed a difference in its calculations for working out the calories burned. When I was working out with the Charge 2, I found that my calories burned was a lot more accurate - e.g. 400-500 calories burned per session and my daily calorie burn averaging around 2,000. As I'm working out now with the Charge 3 its only saying around 90-100 calories burned with a lot more intensity over the same time period and my overall calories of the day is a lot lower - around 800 calories.
Helppp, has anyone else found this?
The heart rate monitor seems to be more accurate than the charge 2 tho, so I could get up to 180bpm and stay at that intensity for a while and still say I only burned 70 cals!?!?!

Hi there @BethanyL4, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm happy to hear that you're loving your Charge 3. Thanks for the details provided, I will glad to help you.
Please note that the algorithms used in both devices are the same, so you should see no more than a standard 4% variation between the two. It's possible to get different readings if the trackers are worn in different locations (dominant vs non-dominant wrist). We recommend reviewing the accuracy information provided on our help site at help.fitbit.com.
As you may know, calorie burn is based on two factors: your basal metabolic rate (or BMR) and activity tracked by your device.
For more details, see: How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?
Hope this helps you, keep me posted.
