Charge 3 not tracking nor syncing data accurately after firmware update

Hi, 

My charge 3 recently updated itself, and since the update i have been experiencing problems with updates to the app, and tracking of exercise. Problems are detailed below :-

 

1 - charge 3 is not tracking exercise accurately  - on sunday ( just gone) i exercised continuously for close to an hour ( walking briskly for 30 minutes and then running for 30 minutes). The charge only picked up 22 minutes of exercise 

2 - Floors seem to excessive - it picked up close to 60 floors on one day and this is definitely incorrect. I have had similar happen on other days ( although not that many floors - it is more than what id be expecting)

3 - On the app - the track exercise section isnt updating - i have it set to 6 days but you cant see how many days exercise has been completed 

4 - I cant see any notifications at all

 

Can anyone help please?

If you haven't done so, please restart your tracker as described in this help article. After this, monitor your Charge 3 for the next 48 hours and see if the issues get fixed.

This did not work.  On Monday I had walk time that does not show on the app.  The fitbit steps are fine but I walked before the arobic activity and it doesn't show.  I restarted my Charge 3.  Nothing changed.

@Vsnana thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. However, regarding the steps tracking issues that your Charge 3 is experiencing, I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you tried before contacting our forums.

 

Please try setting up your Charge 3 as a new device. After this, monitor your tracker and see if the issue gets fixed.

I have been having the same problem with my charge 3. It has been working fine apart from a couple of frozen moments that a restart has fixed but it is now not tracking my exercise/active minutes and isnt letting me know if i have reached my steps for the hour. I have reset it a few times now and it does not seem to be solving anything. What can I do from here?
