I've been looking on forums trying to resolve this and nothing seems to work. I had my Charge 3 for Christmas and the sleep tracking worked for the first 10 days or so, and hasn't been working properly since. I relax for an hour in bed before going to sleep. I normally get up once during the night and it seems to start tracking my sleep when I go back to bed, so thinks I've gone to bed at 3-4am and got up at 7.
I've tried:
- Re-setting
- Changing the sensitivity
- Syncing just before using the 'Begin sleep now' function
- Syncing just before NOT using the 'Begin sleep now' function and relying on the tracker alone
It's frustrating as one of the main reasons for me buying a fit bit was to help improve my sleep habits and it feels like a waste of money. If anyone can help I'd be really grateful.

Note that we are aware of Sleep Score may take longer than usual to appear in the app. We’re currently working to resolve it and hope to have a fix soon. Be sure to keep your Fitbit device and app up-to-date to ensure you receive the quickest resolution.
If the steps above don't work, as a first approach, I'd like you to perform the following steps below for this situation:
