"... was saving my sleep in the log entry"
how this can be marked as a "solution: to manually log in your sleep for a 24/7 tracker advertised with sleep tracking functionality on your wrist?

I agree I still have problems with it showing on my wristband. It shows on my app.

Thank you for your comments @TobiasF, this is a solution that was helpful to someone else, but it may not be same case for everyone. Are you still having difficulties with the sleep information not being tracked, or your're referring to the "Sleep not tracked" that appears in the "Today" section of your Charge 3?
Welcome to the forums @Tbettis108, and thank you for the feedback regarding the "Sleep not tracked" message. The team of developers is already aware of the numerous reports from people that have experienced the same difficulty. Unfortunately we haven't received any other updates about this, but we do know that they're working to find a resolution as soon as possible.
Let me know if you have further questions.

To the original question - it’s been annoying me that my sleep tracking has always shown up on the app but not on the wrist. I’ve now found the answer - in the app click top right icon to take you to the account. Then click Charge 3 connected. Then to Notifications. Make sure Fitbit is selected on, ie green. Sleep tracking then shows on the wrist band. 😊

negative, these notification settings are used to bring your phone notifications (whatever you select) to the tracker (swipe up) nothing to do with "sleep not tracked" core functionality on the tracker itself that is missing since launch and many people complaining here

Hi TobiasF. Yes I understand that, but the original question was:
“On my wrist band the Fitbit charge 3 it says not tracking sleep. Why is this? “
That was exactly what I found, ie not showing sleep tracking on wrist band when you swipe up, but when you change the settings on the app as I described it then showed up immediately.

Is there an expected repair time frame for the sleep tracking function. I feel like I have been taken advantage of because I have purchased something that does not work as advertised.

Thank you for your help with this @AvonSue and @TobiasF.
Hi @sehertz and welcome to the Community forums @TBrooks50, thank you for all the feedback provided about this feature, could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to restart? Or let me know if you're not getting sleep stages information, but you regular sleep is being properly recorded.
@Tbettis108, is your sleep information not being recorded, or you're referring to the Sleep not tracked message on the display and your information is showing properly in your app?
That's good news, thank you for this update @brianzart and @CHRISARL.
Keep me posted.

Hello & desperately need help. I bought a Charge 3 a few weeks ago & followed all directions to set it up. It stopped tracking sleep after a week. Exchanged it for a 2nd one that tracked a few hours each night. Exchanged it for a 3rd one!! Same thing!!! Husband's works fine for him. I read the forums & I am not purchasing a sleep/step/heart rate tracker to manually track my sleep! So very frustration! What is the problem?? Please help!
