Bought my Fitbit Charge 3 on Saturday. Tracked my sleep first night, hasn’t since for last 3 nights. Have to keep putting it on charger and restarting. Few hours later it appears on watch and phone. Can’t keep doing this! Any ideas?

I tried all of the suggestions in the "solution" after my Charge 3 stopped tracking sleep for the past week but nothing helped. Every morning the app says "Wear your tracker to bed" whilst it is still on my wrist from sleeping in it. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with it (probably not because my wife was with me, her Charge 3 continues to this day working normally) but we spent a couple of nights in a location with no wi-fi or cell signal, though when I used the app after sleeping it was when the phone was connected again to wi-fi.
I ended up removing the Charge 3 from my account today and doing, I think, a complete device reset, got it paired back to my phone and syncing again. Will see if it helps tonight.

It was suggested that your device be 2-3 finger widths up from your wrist. I'm going to try this to night too.

I’ve been able to reboot the app on my iPad and then it will show my
sleep. There've only been a few times when this didn’t work once I figured
out what to do.

On an iPad or iPhone, press the home button two times in a row. All your
apps will show on a page and will be small. Just swipe up on the Fitbit
app. It will disappear, then you can simply reopen it from your taskbar or
the page it resides on. If that fails, shut down your iPad and restart
it. If neither of those things work, I don’t have any other suggestions.
Maybe someone else will. Those two things have worked for me all but a few
times.

I do have to wear it tighter at night. I also try to remember when I went to bed and when I woke up. Then I check and see if they have the same times. You can change the time if it's incorrect.

I wish you never changed to this stupid sleep score. Like we’re all not under enough pressure to perform, now, thanks to Fitbit, I wake up depressed. Don’t even bother to tell me to go to bed earlier, girl, because this Fitbit isn’t even accurately tracking my exercise. Since the last iOS upgrade, Fitbit has failed. The last thing anyone wants is to wake up to a system that says “poor “ when all we’re trying to do is get sleep and stay healthy and positive.

The FB band is 3 finger widths up on my wrist. That makes no difference. The watch isn't synching with my phone. I believe the problem is with the app. I don't know why it can't find my device 😑.... I even held the 2 together, touching... I will call fb for a refund as advised.
