Bought my Fitbit Charge 3 on Saturday. Tracked my sleep first night, hasn’t since for last 3 nights. Have to keep putting it on charger and restarting. Few hours later it appears on watch and phone. Can’t keep doing this! Any ideas?

This worked for me and has worked ever since (about 3 months now). Thank you.

Good Day Fitbit Team, I tried all these 3 steps and none worked for me on my Fitbit Charge 3. My Fitbit has stopped tracking my sleep for about a week now and it's frustrating because this is one of the features I got the device for. Any additional solves? I didn't track my sleep for the night or nap. I've updated my app, I've reset the device, I tracked manually for a few days and don't want to keep having to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I have had two replacements since my original purchase just over one year ago. And those did not come easy. The first replacement got a grey screen with lines, and this third one is garbage. I have to reboot the device itself every other day to get it to track anything. I am not even going to bother support again, their produce and their support are nothing like they used to be. I have zero confidence in this product and will never purchase another. They could replace this every week and it still would not work. Not to mention how infuriating support can be to deal with. So Fitbit, we have been friends for so many years, but you are a terrible friend and it's over for me.

You might as well not wear the fit bit to sleep if you have to track your sleep manually. Call Fitbit and have them reboot your program.

Thank you so much! I tried testing this and it worked during my nap although I had to put it on the 3rd hole which is tight vs. the 4th and 5th I've had it on. Weird since it wasn't an issue before but I'll test this out for a few days before contacting Fitbit.

Hi gang, so the Fitbit tracks my sleep but the only way to get it to appear on my watch or app is to reset and reboot the Fitbit every day. Is there a solve for this? Or does Fitbit send out software updates ever to avoid issues like this? Same for workouts. It doesn't log my workouts at first but after I reboot they will appear in my wrist and app. It's pretty frustrating. Thank you, Amanda

I tried steps 1-4 over and over. 3 weeks and no tracking of my sleep. It is the biggest reason I wanted one of these and it doesn't work. No fixes, no updates, no work done from FitBit. Nothing new, just emails to tell me to manually enter my sleep times and it's fixed. Well, nope. It isn't fixed in the slightest bit. As a matter of fact, it is getting worse.

I received my fitbit Charge 3 a few weeks ago but now it will not track my sleep, oximetry, nor will it sync with my phone. I have uninstalled the app 4 times. I reset the fitbit and received the smiley face and all of this to no avail. Help me Obi Wan. Your my only hope.
