Charge 3 not turning on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

My FitBit Charge 3 died last week during a ride. It was fully charged when I left and after a hour or two it just died. I tried charging it again but after about 10 minutes it gets a bit hot, so I disconnected it. Screen stays blank and button does not respond. Also no vibrations or beeps. No sign of life at all.

Should I just bury it in the garden in an old shoebox?

Cheers

I accidentally marked your answer as best answer, it looked like there was a checkbox set for this and I wanted to unckeck it. The question remains unanswered. Sorry about the conusion.

- Are the LED lights on the back on?- When was the last time you charged it? ** No
- How long did you charge it for? ** Five hours or so.
- If you haven't charged your Fitbit recently, we ask that you try charging it for 2 hours.** Tried this, FitBit is still dead.
- Have you tried restarting your Fitbit device by following the steps in our support article How do I restart my Fitbit device? ** Not possible since FitBit is dead.
- Have you tried the steps in our support article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? ** Tried this, also leaving it on the charger cable without charger for 45 minites. Then tried to charge it again for 2 hours.

No change, no LED's lighting up, sceen stays black, no vibrations.
