Charge 3 not updating weather information

The weather on my tracker use to be current and when traveling the tracker would change to the city I was in with their temperature. Now the weather just shows my default location and below the temperature it states xxx minutes ago which is not current. Why is the weather not current and changes to the city your traveling through?

I did contact them awhile ago and they said they know of this issue and the team does not know how to fix it, but watch for any future updates.
I thought that was a poor excuse and did not solve the problem.

Thanks for getting back, @Jodylh.

If the weather doesn't update, check the following settings:

  • Location services must be turned on for the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I use GPS on my Fitbit device?
  • All-Day Sync must be turned on in the Fitbit app.
  • The Fitbit app must remain running in the background on your phone.

Let me know how it goes.

Tried that many times also.

Fyi – now after all this time, I always need to pair with blue tooth. Oh boy!
