Charge 3 notifications and heart rate issues

This thing worked great until a few months ago. Now it doesn't send notifications of any kind. Can't even get a test notification. I look and sure enough it is unpaired again. Go thru the reset, etc, and then it will work for a day or two.

Also, my heart rate reading is no longer even close to what it actually is. Have tried all the tips, tricks, etc, and it is continually off in the heart rate. We are not talking by a few beats. It's off like 20, just not reliable. Being a nurse I do know how to take my pulse for comparison.

God knows what it will tell me my O2 readings are if and when I get the update. This think is a major disappointment, glad I don't own stock in this thing. Granted I've had it 18 months, but it has not had hard use of any kind. Maybe 18 months is its useful life. I guess I will be looking for something more reliable.

Anyone else having similar experience.

It's great to see you around, @SunsetRunner.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix these issues. About the notifications, our team is aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as quickly as possible, sorry for any inconvenience it's caused and appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

Now about the heart rate, I recommend taking a look at this post where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it.

Let me know the outcome. 🙂

I've tried all you tips in your standard answer. Short of trying to wear it around my neck, the heart rate monitor is way off. There isn't anything I have not tried numerous times. I don't know that I will keep wearing it since the functions I care about seen to only work occasionally.
