Hi there,

I bought my beloved Charge 3 in November 2019 and in January I noticed a couple of pixels missing from the middle line. Now the whole line has disappeared. I have also noticed that when I am recording real time exercises sometimes the Fitbit cuts off so the exercise data is lost. in the last week I have had trouble charging my device. The only way to successfully charge is in my car now which, at the moment with Corona, is not exactly ideal. i am afraid my device is faulty. Can anyone please advise? Thanks

Hello there @Kakabulut, welcome to the Community Forums. We're sorry for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond.

I'll be glad to assist you about the display on your Charge 3 that is not working and the exercises that are stopping by themselves.

If you haven't done so yet, for both issues, I'd recommend restarting your tracker as follows:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
  5. Disconnect your tracker from the charging cable.

If the issues persist, would you mind telling me if your Charge 3 stops the exercise with an specific activity?
