When I am out walking, and use the autostart feature, I check the Fitbit app on the phone afterwards and I see the total miles walked etc. My question is how long can I stop, during the walk, for example to talk to a neighbor, before Fitbit thinks incorrectly I am done walking and then records the walk? If I start up again after some minutes, I sometimes get only 1 walk recorded, rather than both parts. Can I stop 5 minutes, 10 minutes? please advise.

It's great to see you around, @ALLLAN.
Regarding your inquiry, there isn't an option to set intervals for walking. e're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products and services, and we very much appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers.
The best place to make your voice heard is the feature suggestions board in our community. Please take a moment to visit and give us your feedback. If you find that a similar suggestion has already been made by another member of the community, you can vote for their idea and add your comments.

I am not sure I explained my question correctly since your answer did not seem to address my concern. How long can I stop walking, when using the autostart feature, and NOT have fitbit prematurely end my walk and record it? Is it one minute, 5 minutes, or some other time? Same question for biking. Right now as a workaround, I start fitbit manually for both activities to avoid a premature 'ending'.
Thanks very much
