I have been having this issue for many months now but I haven't seen any similar posts yet. My issue is that my tracker keeps recording swim exercises when I am not even in water. At first I thought maybe it was recording my showers as swim events, but then I started paying more attention and it is recording swim events when I'm not even in any water. At best I might have washed my hands after using the restroom. Also, some of these swim events are recorded for lengthy times, like 1.5 hrs! I have no idea how to deal with these other than deleting them when I see them, but it's kind of made me lose faith in what it is supposed to track if it's recording mystery exercise. Especially involving water. I could see where possibly doing some household chores rather "energetically" might accidentally get recorded as an exercise. But a mystery swim? This is now occurring several times a week now. Help!

@rupnzul I hope you're doing well!
Let me help you with this. Your device will detect the activities depending on the movement it is subjected to. The automatic detection is a feature called SmartTrack. It could be that the motion your device detects during your day is interpreted as a swim exercise. I suggest you remove the swim option from there to avoid having more of these activities recorded on your account.
Hope this helps.

This makes no sense. I am not exercising during these "swim events", so why would it record ANY exercise, let alone a swim one? If one of the main goals of the tracker is to recognize and record exercises, then capturing something not even closely relevant is a huge bug!

I was driving when my fitbit 3 recording I was swimming. I also get steps while I am sleeping. How can we stop this from happening?
