Charge 3 registered too many floors

My Fitbit charge 3 is saying I have climbed 93 floors today when I have only done 12,800 steps I only usually climb about 1 floor on that amount of steps. Is anyone else having the same

problem

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 3. Thank you for the information provided.

 

Your device may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Devices may track floors while doing everyday tasks such as opening doors, driving, or riding elevators or escalators, or from abrupt weather and atmospheric pressure changes Exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors. We recommend that you wear your device loosely during exercise.

 

If you haven't done so, please restart your Tracker by following these steps.

 

Whether you want to remove the extra floors from your account, please visit this article, open the menu "How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?" and follow the instructions.
